PALESTINE,TX—A new state-of-the-art communications system has been installed at city hall. The new messaging system will require only one employee which will mean a huge savings to the local taxpayer.
In describing the new system, Communications Director Nate Smith explained, “Rather than having a static message board in the hallway where employees gather to see notes from the city manager, I’ve developed a mobile clipboard approach so the notes go to where the employees are.” Smith added that, “Employees are really excited about the new system and so am I. We are living in the age of mobile apps and this puts us on the leading edge of modern day technology at a price we can afford.”
TDT tried to interview the new employee but he remained tight-lipped and refused to say anything but did manage to grunt twice when asked if he was excited about the new job.
