PALESTINE, TX–An anonymous employee at the City of Palestine captured a cell phone photograph of City Manager Wendy Ellis in a restroom stall for the 27th time today as tonight’s council meeting approaches where, once again, her job will be discussed by council.

“I just am so nervous and I keep feeling my stomach rumbling because I simply don’t know what to expect and my nerves on just a mess,” a nervous and sweating Ellis told The Dogwood Tale.

“I will find out who took this picture and file criminal charges against them for invading my privacy, for the record, a gal should be allowed to use the restroom in peace and after maintenance repaired the toilet on my 15th trip, I’m starting there with my investigation,” Ellis said.

Ellis’ job is, once again, being discussed by council on tonight’s agenda.  Her fate remains unknown as several council members have shown an inability to decide what they want to do.

“I don’t know what I’ll do,” District Five Councilmember Doug Smith said.  “On the one hand, she needs to go, but on the other, I woke up feeling forgiving, so we’ll just have to see how it works out.  It’ll really depend on what kind of mood I’m in at the very moment we take a vote.”

Council meeting begins promptly at 5:30 PM at Palestine City Hall.
